Can Temp Mail Replace Two-Factor Authentication?

No. A temporary email address is not a replacement for two-factor authentication.

Temporary email determines where messages are received. Two-factor authentication adds an account verification step using a method supported by the service.

Receiving a login code in an email inbox does not automatically make that inbox a suitable long-term security channel. If it expires or is accessible to other people, account access may become unreliable.

For important accounts, use a lasting email address under your control and review the authentication options provided by the service. Follow its setup instructions and keep recovery information securely.

Do not use an expiring address merely because a platform allows registration with it. The ability to create an account and the ability to protect and recover that account over time are separate considerations.
